Hello, i've got that BG serial board. As soon as the raspi is powered, the green LED on the BG serial board lights up.
I am on the latest Raspbian Jessie, and i deleted the serial-console
entry; things seem to look good so far:
So how do i know, by which simple raspi tests/commands
or program/utility, that my Pi Hat and its RS232-port is fully functional and working perfectly as it should? I have connected my logging digital multimeter (LDMM), with the help of a male-male gender changer, to the RS232-port, thus the BG serial board should be receiving data/signals all the time.
Btw i do have Raspbian beta-software for my LDMM but it seems that the software is not receiving any data/signal thru the raspi/Pi Hat/Gender Changer, so i need to question the functionality of the Pi Hat first!
Thanks in advance for some help or pointers!!
