RPI 4 with sense hat

I bought the RPI, liked the look of the sense hat and bought it, before finding about the heat issue.
Last few days spent finding a way of cooling, with a hat 'mounted'.
Parts on order.
1. Various stand off's, 2.5mm
2. NF-A4x10 5v 1" fan, driven from ob usb.
3. M-F 40w ribbon (rt angle fold to align pin 1).

Knock up, Sheet plastic to (somehow) keep it all together (it's for a birthday present).

RPI and Hat work together. Python cod no problem with that tested - should be a good intro!
Niggles: Ubuntu and keboard - bought an RPI keyboard, Ubuntu doesn't have it listed. Set to generic. Hunting for # was a nuisance.

Updates, wifi, screen all worked out of the box.

Really quite impressed.

Except for the heat issue - I hope someone was .... reprimanded for not testing the system.

I have a sense hat mounted to an A+. I put a proto hat mounted on a stacking header between the Pi and sense hat and my temps then read normal. Close enough to normal ambient for me anyway. That pi sits upright with the GPIO header on the bottom to let the hot air escape easily. No case. I had some issues with other sensors and eventually just switched to using a BME680 mounted off to the side.

Not sure I understand 'A+' relative to 4 temperatures?

Reviewing the build (mechanical) to see if I can get better alignment of the mounting holes.
Thinking of mounting plasticard sheets, with each rpi 'bit' (and fan) mounted to a card?
That should ease alignment.

Shame on @rpi for ignoring ribbon cable headers.

Even my A+ made the temperature read artificially high. And it just happens to be the Pi I have my sense hat attached too. Thats all.
I would imagine a Pi 4 will be a whole lot worse for heat transfer to the sense hat.
You could mount your sense hat on this.
