I am attempting to reset the battery run time using
sudo i2cset -y 1 0x6B 0x01 0xff
but it is returning "Error: Write failed"
I get a similar read failed error with i2cget
My apologies if this is an easy fix, I am new to linux and rpi.
Some more trouble shooting info:
I am running a Pi3B+ with raspbian installed using PINN
I had to manually add dtparam=i2c1=on, dtparam=i2c0=on, and dtparam=i2c_arm=on to the config.txt. This solved my original issue of not being able to do any i2c stuff. Now i can run i2cdetect -y 0 and I see a few things show up (I think from the other HAT I have on the pi which is a HealthyPI 3). If I do the same for 1 I don't see anything. I'm assuming I should see a few things listed in the table here. I hope this info is helpful.
Also, and I'm not sure if it is relevant, I have been having difficulty with setting up the rtc on the ups pico. I'm wondering if it is somehow related because of what I had read in this thread: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view ... o#p1054846
Thank you for the help!
