Compatibility with Raspberry Pi - Model B

Sun Nov 11, 2012 7:36 pm

So, I've got my Gert boards built (x2). I'm currently working through the User Guide. I know there are differences between the GPIO pins on the Model A and Model B Raspberry Pi.

Other than remapping of the pin changes, is there anything else that one needs to be concerned about when using the GERT with the Model B?

No, Just replace
GPIO0 with GPIO2,
GPIO1 with GPIO3,
GPIO21 with GPIO27.

The biggest difference is that the I2C bus is coming from a different device (master).
But as the Gertboard SW does not have any I2C examples (or devices) you don't notice that.

Not model-A and model-B!

Currently only model-B's are sold!
Gerts answer is correct, but the difference is the difference between the revision 1 model-B, and the revision 2 model-B
