Hi all,
I am looking at mounting one of my Raspberry Pi's into the inside of my PC, basically a pc within a pc.

Does anyone know where I can purchase either a 2.5" or 3.5" bay mount where I can basically mount a RPI right in the front of my PC behind the air intake fans?

I wont need access to the SDCARD slot often (only on failure/upgrade)

Has anyone seen anything like this?

You will probably have to build it yourself. A PC bay assembly which has a blank plastic fascia should be easy enough to drill and file and it doesn't really matter how it looks inside. Various extension leads can be used to bring SD card and other connectors to the fascia.

Another option is to fit your Pi inside a removable drive bay. Then it can be removed from the PC for easier access. Those are however mostly 5" fitting.

I guess I could fudge something like this a bit:

Something like that should work. Or an old floppy drive carrier with the face plate taken off which you might get for free. A plastic chopping board or an off-cut of ply cut to fit the carrier can give something to easily screw or glue to.

Or just push fit a couple of wooden battens in the PC and bolt to those. You have to get inventive with DIY and 'embrace the bodge'. A spare bedroom full of what every one else considers junk always helps and keeps things cheap.
