Witty Pi button not working

Sat Jun 16, 2018 9:23 pm

Hello! I want to use the Witty Pi to make a time-lapse camera but first I want to get its basic functions working. I've attached the Witty Pi hat and there doesn't seem to be any problem with the software installation, but pressing the button does not turn it on and off as advertised. At first, although I could not start it up with the button, I could at least shut it down with the button if the the RPi was already powered up. Now it neither starts it up nor shuts it down. The red LED on the Witty Pi turns on and displays a RTC time, so it seems to be working in some ways.
I’m using a Raspberry Pi Zero W v 1.0 and a Witty Pi 2 Mini. My OS is the latest version of “Rasbian Stretch with Desktop."

Assuming you've installed the hardware and software correctly your best option is to contact the vendor directly

Make sure you are powering through the Witty Micro usb not the pi´s.
