Hi, some of the arduino sketch examples deliver serial output. Can this be read by the pi? Would I use wiringPi's serial handling or can I just point 'screen' at <something>?

Can't say I've got this working yet. My minicom terminal is just silent no matter what sketch with serial output I upload...

Stupid question probably but: Have you go the serial jumpers in place?
The ones that connect the Atmega to the Raspberry-Pi?

yes - that's 8, and 10 yes? They're in place for the sketch upload, and remain in place.
