Game Boy Camera

Tue Feb 16, 2016 8:42 pm

Is there a way to have the Game Boy Camera connected to the Pi as live feed aswell? (I'm working on a PiBoy)
Thanks,
Sam

You bump a thread after 45 minutes, when it's still at the top of the forum?! Be a little patient!

I can't see the Game Boy camera working easily. There is an instructables page which gives some details of a circuit that takes the Game Boy camera to UART using an ADC and PIC - the Pi has no analogue inputs, so you'll need to use something very similar.
Seeing as the Game Boy camera only has a resolution of 128x123 and either 2 or 5bits/pixel, you'd be better off using the Pi camera or a USB camera.
