seems like a lack of data out there on it. the main driver board has serial ports. is that for more ins? the button controller has thru holes - I imagine for IR sensor and power LED. Do I solder them right in or do I have to jump them over some how? Also on the main board there seems to be GPIOs...are these the same GPIOs as the raspberry?

the main driver board spots are just for adding other inputs?

Bueller? Any help would be great. Calls to the mfg yield no support - tech support at the vendor had no clue and zero doc on the web. I know on the ends one is probably a IR receiver which, i don't know the codes and the other is probably an LED for power. Some are labeled ground, vcc, etc. I was sticking LEDs into the holes to see what happens and some activated new screens like contrast and brightness so i rather totally understand the board before i get the cases made and miss out on a feature i should have implemented.
