I have 2 Hard disk attached
one via an external 3.5" Sata -> usb adapter [with a 1.8" 64Gb SSD]
one via an enternal 2.5" sata -> usb adapter [with a 2.5" hitachi 120Gb HD ]
the system is set to boot the rootfs from /dev/sda1
I power the RPi from a usb hub which also supplies the additional ports [this hub has had the red wire cut to stop back powering the RPI]
if I pull the usb lead from the good* usb adapter then the system boots to
line 187 in the above pastebin
usb 1-1.2.3: reset low speed USB device number 6 using dwc_otg
is the keyboard device - it's a bit poo but works]
and the system stays like that until I plug in the usb - > sata adapter
line 192 of the pastebin
then it all boots and both drives can be seen....
has anyone got any ideas about why it does not boot off the cheep usb -> satat adater ?
