my screen is white...

i added a screen, one that directly connects to the board (3.2inch) and it just came up white. my pi works, i pluged it in to the tv via hdmi to check but my tiny screen just turns on plain white. soooooo... do i need software or something? what are the 3 buttons on it for? its touch screen... so idk.

Impossible to say without knowing what screen it is exactly...
If it's connected to the GPIO header you will need a driver for it.

You need to contact the seller to get a working OS image -OR- a driver AND detailed step by step instructions on how to install them.
Make sure the seller has updated the OS or driver to work with the RPi2B.

so im using the waveshare 32b, this tutorial walks throught the exact setup,
EXEPT they are using a b+ and not a pi2 like me...
so what edits to the tutorial should help me set up MY pi?
and im losing connection alot making it impossible to update the software...
any help there?

Had a look through these instructions and I haven't seen anything that *stops* it from working on a Pi2B.
Some things (like commenting out blacklisted items) may not be relevant anymore, but that should not make a difference.

Did you try the Notro Drivers/Firmware on a fully dist-upgrade updated Raspbian

Is the .img you used Pi2B compatible?
