4G HAT

A friend is getting into Raspberry Pi.
I am more of an Arduino person.

From the Q&A, it looks like the HAT is 2G.

I am thinking that he'd want 4G LTE. I recall reading that cell service providers have dropped 2G completely in the USA. Am I right?

Waveshare sell a range of 4G Hats, make sure you find one compatible with your Service Provider:
