raspberry talking to xmega on xplain

Mon Jun 25, 2012 11:59 am

Hi,
i have xplain board (xmega evaluation kit http://www.embeddedstar.com/postimages/ ... Xplain.jpg) laying somewhere in my house so i thought that i can connect it to my raspi, but i dont really know how :)

so my question is, what would be the simplest/best way to make them talk:
- serial over usb
- spi
- i2c

i have kernel from bootc.net so i can use i2c/spi from raspi but its to dificult for me to get it working :)

thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english

i got it working via serial port over usb, now it's time to try spi or i2c, but its going to be more difficult i think :)

Hi,
Did you have any success with it? I'm trying to communicate to an XMEGA128A3 via SPI, but I don't get any response from it. Could you post your experiences?

Thanks, Tibi
