how to run a touch screen via I2C

Thu Dec 04, 2014 2:11 pm

I'm rather new to the pi community but I have this project where we are trying to built a "laptop pi" for a learning setup. So what I've got is a Pi model B+ and this touch screen ( ... 05431.html).
I got the screen itself working quite nicely now. Next step I tried interfacing with the touch component which is connected via the I2C pins. I enabled those pins and now when I run

Code: Select all

sudo i2cdetect -y 1
I have a port shown at 00/4.
but now I'm stuck on figuring out how to go on? What's the next step? Can anybody help?

Did you manage to get this working?

Return to “Interfacing (DSI, CSI, I2C, etc.)”
