HDMI control.

Sat Oct 05, 2013 8:54 pm

My Pi is working fine, when I power it on it also brings the connected TV out of standby.

After loading Rasbian is it possible to reproduce the signal that does this?

i.e. if the RPi is running 24/7 can I use the RPi to bring the TV out of standby? (TV was placed in standby with 'power' button in remote control)

Humph! spoke too soon, it seems to power up with the other HDMI input active!?

Even if I swap cables and inputs.

It's just the same when I power up the RPi so I'm going to blame the fairly old TV.
