Bluetooth with HFP/HSP

Fri Jun 14, 2013 12:10 pm

Hi everybody,

I managed to configure my bluetooth dongle with my Pi. Now, I have the A2DP profile which allow me to play music through the Pi.
I didn't find found anythings about the HSP/HFP profil for hands free device.
I use bluez solution and I have tried differente configuration but still nothing.

I want to know if somebody have succesfully configure the HSP/HFP profile and if there is another solution to autoconnect the phone when it see the Raspberry.

For the moment, I'll try to test the Ofono solution.

For anyone interested, there is a solution to use the HSP profile with Raspberry Pi 3’s built in BCM43438 chip:

I'm curious to know if the new chip CYW43455 (on 3B+) supports HSP profile out of the box or we will face the issues with it again.
