RFM01-868 noconnection

Hello,
i try to connect a Hope RFM01-868S to my Raspberry.
It based on http://www.susa.net/wordpress/2012/08/r ... nd-rfm12b/ and this schemata http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 28#p259228

So I connect like,without any pullup resistor (i think its on the RFM) http://unix-solution.de/raspi/Raspi_RFM01S.pdf
The connections are ok, i think. (tested with a continuity tester)

But there is no device found on i2c bus

The First Problem i have Fixed.
Sorry I'am a Newcomer on SPI and I2C interface programing.
the RFM is no i2c device.

Now i have download the code from susa, and do some changes

Hi,

Try LNA_14,RSSI_103, or LNA_20,RSSI_103 - looks like you're getting some data from the unit, but just not reliably.

Finding the 'sweet spot' for your environment has been discussed here - http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... 37&t=14777, and also in the blog comments in http://www.susa.net/wordpress/2012/08/r ... nd-rfm12b/

It's worth taking half an hour to at least skim the conversations, there's quite a lot of useful info there.

The antenna has a lenght of 68mm.

Now my weather station is working.
I use this code: https://github.com/kenmcc/wh1080listener
so i have a sqllite database as backup and can inport the "csv" testfile into my postgres server.

But there are still some errors:
  • Is the station placed next to the raspberry it lose the connection after a while (20 min) or so.
    The longest time i continuously get data was for 4 hours.
  • Is the station placed 5m far away from raspberry the connection get unstable and lose some bits.
The first i have solved with a while loop to "re-initial" the sensor after 15 query’s, at the moment i test if its run 24h without any error.
The 2nd is a antenna problem i think. At the moment i use a copper wire, its 36,4 mm long.

Can anybody tell some details about a antenna for 868,3 MHz please?
Would this be an alternative?

Whats about the "signal line loss" when i use this antenna with the 2.5 m coaxial cable (50 Ω) ?
Do i need any additional components?

Is there an other antenna that could be use?

I think antenna should be 8.6 cm ( 1/4 wavelength ) fo 868 MHz.

Hi, I'm trying to connect RFM01 to a Raspberry Pi 2 model B v 1.1, which uses a BCM2836, I can't find a the TIMER_ARM_COUNT address, where can I found it?
