How to add a HAT and a fan?

Wed Jan 08, 2020 2:33 pm

I am a newbie that just got a RPI4 kit (with a fan, case, heatsinks, etc.). From all that I have read so far, the RPI4 runs hotter than earlier models. My plan is to use the kit and and a HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro for music streaming and I am concerned about temperature issues. There appears to be no way to add the DAC AND have the fan connected at the same time. Do you have any ideas into how this could be done, or known suggestions?

my suggestions:

1) Learn to solder, and you are no longer restricted in what you can connect.

2) Don't hijack unrelated threads, now I had to split off your post, and give it a sensible name.

You may laugh, but it actually works!

My mind is like a browser. 27 tabs are open, 9 aren't responding,
lots of pop-ups...and where is that annoying music coming from?
