Hello,
I have an old model of Raspberry Pi 2011.12, it should be a Model B. Unfortunately, one component came off and the terminals broke. I cannot therefore understand how and with what (polarity, type of component and capacity) replace it. Can you help me? I am not an electronics expert and, even with all the difficulties, I would like to start this journey. Thank you. I enclose a photo of the circuit.

Thats a 220uF capacitor, rated at 16V (if I'm right from my mind)

Package type is D8. Can't give a recommendation where to buy it as I don't know ypour location.

The black marking goes to the edge of the board (ground) as in your photo.
With a good power supply the board will work OK without that capacitor.
Others have replaced that cap with a radial lead device instead of surface mount.

That's a PI 1B Rev 2.0. Others have already stated what the capacitor is.
