Extend USB connection from Pi Zero onto PCBs

Hi!
The micro USB connector provided on the Raspberry Pi zero is on the longer edge, which does not permit cable connectivity to PC in the width restricted enclosure, provided as part of my project.
Hence, to extend the USB connection, I thought to tap the data lines on the rear side of Raspberry Pi Zero (PP22 and PP23) and bring them on to a PCB1. From PCB1, the same data lines are to be extended to PCB2, which has USB connectors to interface PC.
I am not sure how to implement this.
Experienced engineers are requested to suggest the best way to achieve the above objective.
Thanks!
