Multiple sensors on I2C disconnecting.

Sun May 19, 2019 5:02 pm

Hello !
I am using a BMP180 and a GY-30 light-sensitivity sensor on my Rpi.
I have enabled I2C , connected both sensors on the same I2C bus , and tried both sensors separately and they are working fine.
The first sensor is addressed on #77 and the second is on 27#.
The problem is that when i connect them together and i try to detect them only one appears and the other one keeps disconnecting.
Every post that i read till now says that i should be fine since my sensors have differed addresses, any suggestions?

This should work. From your description the wiring is the likeliest problem.

Could you add clear photos of the connections between the Pi and the devices.

Its working now , indeed it was a faulty jumper cable. Thanks for your reply!
