Change of PWM

Sat May 18, 2019 9:07 am

Actually, I am trying to rotate the motor with the help of motor driver l298n so that it can a move rack attached to the robot in vertical motion. The problem is that it requires high torque to move upwards. So I was told to change PWM ,can anyone help with this issue?
By the way i am supplying a 12v battery to the motor driver and if I try to connect motor directly to battery the rack is moved upwards.

You can use PWM to vary the motor speed but I really do not understand how that could be used to increase the torque. Have you a link?
