Can Bus Problem

Hi everyone,

I use mcp2515 for communicate with can bus. i want to use raspberry pi as a gateway. i tried to send and recieve data from mcp2515 arduino module.

I followed the quick-guide can bus module and didn't took any error, but when i tried to send 1 packet to mcp2515 it started sending data and didnt stop. Do you have any idea for reason of this?

Hey,

Is there any other device on the CAN bus?
I think the mcp2515 doesn't receive an acknowledge from any other device, so it resends the message over and over .

Are you using a bus terminator?

yes that was the problem i figure it out. thank you
