Controlling a TV via HDMI-CEC. Change Channel?

Sun Feb 07, 2016 9:37 am

So out of interest I installed LIBCEC and can use it to send CEC command from my Pi to my Sony TV via HDMI. Using this I can turn the TV off and on and...well, that's about it. :|

I've been Googling to see if there is anything more useful I can do (e.g Change channel) and can't find anything. Has anyone succeeded in doing this?

Thanks

Yes, I saw that but it's not clear to me from that how to change the TV channel. But if you have done it please let me know!

Thanks

Fill in your source device, fill in your target device and it generates the CEC magic needed for device #1 to control device #2.

You can pretend that the Raspberry is a digital video recorder for the purposes of your experiments.
