RasPi Touchscreen 5-7"

Hi guys,

I'm looking to purchase Raspberry Pi 2 and a touchscreen to go along with it. I found a disturbingly small amount of information regarding touchscreens for the Raspberry Pi (I'm looking for something around 5 to 7 inches, you can't really see anything below 5 and above 7 is a bit over budget. Or is there another option - preferably below $100? It would also be nice if it is 5v 1a powered w. no extra boards etc... as pictured:

Would you happen to know what the power requirement is? I am planning to power both Pi and display from a powerbank with 2 outputs (5V 1A and 5V 2.1A - for my pi).

5V 3A power supply will be supplied along with this display which can power both display as well as Pi2

provison of cable is made to power Pi2 from display pcb

I noticed some other displays on eBay and Amazon which are around $50 - it would be nice if I could get one that cheap. Anyone know if these work:

They all have HDMI input, so I would expect them to work. Be aware that only #2 has a touch panel and it uses some of the GPIO pins:

HDMI interface for displaying, no I/Os required (however, the touch panel still needs I/Os)

If you don't want to use the Pi's GPIO then you'll have to find a screen with a USB touch panel.

Trouble is with this screen from banggood. They give you drivers for the screen.. but it`s in a .img file
I don`t want that.. I just want to install the drivers on an existing installation.. .

Can anyone help ??

These displays are specific to the Banana Pi, and will NOT work with a Raspberry Pi.

You need a display with hdmi input (LCD+adapter board) and a USB touch screen controller that is supported by the Pi.

Does it work well with the DSI interface ?
DO we need to install anything else or just plug and play like HDMI ?
