RPI Zero, Microphone, PCM1808 ADC

Wed Jun 13, 2018 12:14 pm

I've been given all devices (mike, adc with resistors pulled out and pi0) and asked to configure RPi Zero with microphone via GPIO. ADC module is "CJMCU-1808" purchased on Ali https://goo.gl/yBrr2G and it's based on PCM1808.

On ADC I got:

BCK which seems to be Audio-Data Bit-Clock input or output port
OUT probably Audio-Data digital out
LRC Audio-Data latch enable input or output ??
SCK System Clock Input ??
GND ground
+5V power

Now how should I connect those above with GPIO pins ? Power and ground are obvious (GPIO 2 and 6) but I'm not sure rest. When connected should I focus on I2S or this is handle some other way ?

Thanks
