1. Something doesn't play nice with the latest camera firmware and raspimjpeg, so run the command from the wiki link below to go back to a slightly older version to make the buttons work again: http://elinux.org/RPi-Cam-Web-Interface ... a_Firmwarepunacmc wrote:First off, what a great program. Followed the instructions at the beginning of this thread and it worked the first time. I have two questions.
1. If I use some of the web page links or buttons, the pi locks up. I have to unplug to reboot. Anybody have that issue and know how to fix it?
2. Where are the videos saved? I would like to be able to FTP into and download the videos to a separate device like my phone.
I think Silvan has reached a point where he's happy with the code. He's said a few times early on that's he's very busy and doesn't have much time to work on this project I'm afraid. Silvan has also tried to fix the problem with the latest camera firmware, spending most of a day without luck.jussi24 wrote:Is this thread dead?
I'm only reading newbie's problems here for weeks now. Where are silvanmelchior and james? Did the development of the project stop? Or what's happening in the backend? Maybe the efforts headed to another project/thread as it has been with mjpeg-streamer towards raspimjpeg?
I suspect 1920 is too large - I change this to 800 for example (to make 800x600) on mine and it makes the preview window larger. (you have to stop and start the process for it to take effect)T800 wrote: I had a look in the raspimjpeg config and it's set on 1080p for video although there is a line that says 512 just under preview. I changed this to 1920 and it never made every difference.
