MMAL motion only uses the "width" and "height" configuration options to set the resolution - passing "-w" and "-h" to the mmalcam_control_params won't have any effect as those are not recognised. So you need to change "width" and "height" to set the resolution (and possibly affect FOV).sjmsoftware wrote:Thanks @dozencrows. I notice that you have rotate set to 90 degrees - it's probably fine, given that the rotate happens in software after the camera capture.
