What is the best split for running the camera module for streaming? I have a 512mb device.

Give the GPU 128.

I've sure more tuned numbers will come out, but that definitely works for me (on Model B with 256). Should be done automatically when you turn on the camera in raspi-config

Yeah, I am streaming through VLC and can't seem to get a good stable stream, I'll drop it back to 128 and see what effect it has.
