Camara Rate On Stills

Morning All,

Just received camera module, was wondering what the quickest rate of taking photos are in stills mode is?

I think you should experiment with the timelapse option. The normal mode uses something like 0.5 sec to work out exposure and WB.

The time lapse mode worked for me at 0.5s intervals, although I would probably use 5, 10 or 15 seconds as a 'normal' interval depending on what I was trying to capture. Trying too fast a time will result in errors popping up ('unable to return a buffer to the encoder port' and 'unable to get a required buffer 0 from pool queue') is what I got displayed (@100ms). I would stay safe and probably use 1 second to give the device time to capture and write / save the file. If you need a faster capture rate then extracting frames from a video file is probably the best option.
