Hi, I'm still trying to focus the HQ camera, but to no avail .. the image is still so blurry ... :( When the blade climbs my silver ring. the image at the end of the photo shoot is strangely blurred and increases the contrast :(

Any advice?

Just to clarify matters - which lens are you trying to focus? Are you aware that the C-to-CS adapter ring is only needed with the 16mm lens?

I have the ring disassembled but it simply cannot be sharpened. In addition, I looked into the 6mm lens and I have such a small chip at the bottom. Maybe it's a defective piece, I have no idea, but it can't be sharpened properly. I'll try to take a picture when I have the camera removed.

FWIW, here are a few pics. of a (quick) test set-up for a "selfie" (of a P4B):

In their infinite wisdom mech designers of HQ cam made flange focal distance adjustable, it's this figure:
Image
For C mount it's supposed to be 17.526 mm and for CS mount it's supposed to be 12.526 mm. However if we look at mech design of HQ camera module the flange distances add up to 10.2 + 1.2 = 11.4mm and 10.2 + 1.2 + 5.8 = 17.2mm.
Image
In both cases when everything is screwed up tight the lens will be a bit too close to sensor. So, you need to adjust that 1.2mm thick ring, there is even a tiny screwdriver in the package for it. However, if you adjust it too far, you lose the ability to focus to infinity.
