HQ Camera and Canon EF-S lenses

Wed May 13, 2020 1:21 pm

Since I have some Canon EF-s lenses for my DSLR cameras and the HQ camera has the facility to change lenses, I did some experiments to see if the combination makes sense. So I got a HQ camera with the 6mm and 16mm lens, a Raspberry 3B+ from my RPi stock and 3d printed the Canon EF to C mount adapter. Some experiments, not a professional photographic review, just getting to know what can be achieved with this combination.

The short story: it does make sense, though manual focussing is a thing with the HQ camera. Oh, and a long camera cable is handy!

The story can be read here, with some photos: http://duinorasp.hansotten.com/hq-camer ... on-lenses/
