3D scanner multiple cameras

Fri Oct 18, 2019 10:24 am

Hi guys!
I'm new to this world, I had the idea of create a 3d scanner (laser or not still to decide) the idea behind was to use to different cameras on 2 different angles that took the "picture" simultaneously, or close enough, using one board only and a rotational table, reducing like that the time of "capturing" of the object.
Do you think would be possible? There is around similar projects? Keep in mind I never programmed, so I'm new of phyton and family...
Thank you in advance

I have a 3s booth used for scanning people. I built the code in python. I use both pi cameras and dslr, attached to pi by usb. I have about 100 cameras in a 360 configuration, controlled lighting, projection, etc.
Maybe I can help you..
