Switching Between two Camera video feeds

Fri Aug 16, 2019 7:37 pm

I want to have a setup where there are two cameras. One of them is going to be a normal camera and one is going to be an IR camera. I want to have them set up so I can have one on and sending the feed to an LCD hooked up to the pi and then I can switch it by pressing a button or a switch.

Only compute module has two camera connectors, so in case you want to use two Raspberry (v1 or v2) cameras, you need a compute module.
With the other Pi models you can have two cameras wih Raspberry camera and USB cameras, but at most one Raspberry camera.
