I am using a genuine Pi Noir Camera. Set it up using Stretch to use Motioneye on one of my Pi's (3b). Works just fine, everything as it should be. White balance works perfectly to give gray scale images from IR LED (it's inside a nesting box).
Installed Buster on new Pi Zero. Install fine, clean, no problems, same camera, moved to the Zero, is detected and shown as installed.
If I run Raspivid on the Zero I get a video just fine, but the white balance never settles from a rather heavy purple tinge. The script I am running it from, and hence all the settings, is exactly the one I run on the other (Stretch) machine, where the white balance adjusts perfectly.
Motioneye finds and installs the camera precisely as it does on Stretch, BUT - does not show options as it should and the image has the heavy purple tinge. (I have posted on Motioneye forum as well!)
a) Has anyone else run a Noir Camera on Buster?
b) Does it seem to work OK?
c) Any idea what I might have missed/got wrong/forgotten/overlooked?
PS - I've tried the simple expedient of re-booting the Pi Zero from an SD with Stretch + Motioneye to make sure it is not a cable/hardware problem with the Zero. It's not. Everything works perfectly on the Zero when booted that way.
