How to find RTSP User & Pass for ip camera

Mon May 20, 2019 5:33 pm

Hello, i have a Wireless IP Camera (model CIPC-GC13H) and i want to stream with it through RTSP but i don't know the username and password... i have tried admin admin, admin no pass, no username admin, root root, admin root and others... but nothing works. Is it any way to find the username and password for my camera ? Also i tried to scan the ip of my camera with nmap program and i found this: WWW-Authenticate: Basic realm="Onvif" is that mean anything ?

You would do best to ask either your supplier or on the manufactures support forum rather than on a board for Raspberry Pi support.
Need Pi spray - these things are breeding in my house...

If there would be, it would be a very bad product.

You find username and password in the product documentation.

The documentation in the box does not mention anything for RTSP. Also i search in google for product documentation and i didn't find anything about that and i found this post so yes seams to be very bad product... :(

your expected to use the dependent on corporate data mining server phone app.
Some cameras have been hacked/cracked to different degrees some have had the streaming credentials revealed, while others have had alternative f/w built and flashed..

before buying such a camera with the intent to use beyond expected parameters perhaps googeling for models that have already been cracked to a degree might be useful.

While being mindful, any publication of any cracks will come to the producers attention and may result in a security fix as part of the next update when tethered to a phone app instance (generally needed for wifi credential setting ).

however admin/1234(5678) is always worth a try.... good luck..

also if successful dont expect anything spectacular quality wise with the stream you manage to capture (basically vga quality video with the digoo HD camera i have played with for a little. )

Hello,

You've got a specific soft for that : https://www.ispyconnect.com/
Moreover it is opensource...

I've always found log/pass that way, maybe you've got to test a lot of differents propositions, but they are relevant.
