Raspberry Pi MotionEyeOS Questions

I've installed the Raspberry Pi MotionEyeOS Network Camera software onto my Pi 3 B+ and the only problem im having is that after activating the motion record and movie, ive tried several recordings but when I go to review on still pics and movie, there is nothing there?

Also, does anyone know if you can set up an IP camera like an Axis or Northern IP Bullet, and if so how would I go about doing so?
