IR LED's - What nm Value?

Tue Feb 21, 2017 2:18 pm

I would like to buy some IR LED's to provide illumination for the Pi NOIR Camera.

The ones I have looked at are available with an nm value of either 850nm or 940nm.

Could someone please advise which (if either) is suitable for the Pi NOIR Camera.

The RS datasheet says...'The Pi NoIR camera is sensitive to short-wavelength IR radiation
(around 880nm) and requires IR illumination to see in the dark.'

I would suggest the 850nm
