Incorrect colors

Hello,

My camera module v2 is connected to a Pi Model B running Raspbian Jessie and motion. Randomly, some images it takes are fine, like this one:

But more often they are not, like this one. This snowy day is an extreme example, but most exterior shots have this problem.

I've tweaked motion's /etc/motion/motion.conf many different ways, but to no avail. Suggestions for things to tweak?

Does the same error occur when using Raspistill rather than going via Motion? Try setting raspistill up for timelapse to take a load of pictures over 1hr or so, and see how many have issues.
