I am using a NoIR cam with VLC. I am attempting to use this as a covert cam and integrate it into my door station. When I am home I am able to intercom with the door and toggle relays with sequences of buttons and will add a gprs to have the same options remote. I have a HIKVision Tribred Embedded Net DVR that allows 8 analog ins and 2 IP cams. H.264 video compression is the operating compression and output is by VGA and HDMI - or streamed at 1080p. It also has a substream...mgmt. port on the device is 8000. It does a great job of up-converting older and analog cams and am impressed with the resolution streaming to my phone or distributed over hdmi or component thru my house. 1ch or 2ch ip cams are supported but imagine this being a 1 ch...And UnPP allows Server Port, RTSP, HTTP, HTTPS, RTSP Trap, each getting a port number and allowing you to add an external port number so I imagine I use my routers open port there. Ideally I would like to use this as an IP cam - I can have 6 Cat6 wires left which is basically perfect to get the audio and video tied in and even use a video balun and send it via analog. IP allows me a wifi connection making it easier to hide the camera, keep it water tight and get a better view. Can someone assist in the code? I changed the rtsp to http with the port speced...maybe made an error and didn't include the log in and password. Can someone assist?
