Looking for alpha testers for next Gert product

Sun Aug 17, 2014 8:28 pm

I have the prototypes of my next product.
This time there is an awful lot of software to test so I am looking for Alpha testers.
As usual it is 'secret' so you need to be willing to sign an NDA after which I can tell you what it is
and provide you with hardware and source code. (You may keep the hardware ...)
I prefer UK testers to keep shipping costs down.
(If you live near Cambridge I can come by for hand delivery and demo).
As usual with my products you need SW and HW knowledge. (Knowledge of QT will be useful.)
Please PM me if you are interested.

Gert,

Thank you for publishing this GREAT free toy!

Just found the GitHub link in the blog post, I'll wire one up so that I am ready to play once the kernel supporting it is released.

I still have some old VGA LCD's kicking around, including a lot of nice 7" 800x480 displays purchased for a previous project.

This will be perfect for them!'

Update:

The docs said everyone is welcome to make the boards (thanks), and you included the gerbers... as I'll be placing an order for more of my boards soon, I think I'll get a small batch of these made as well (I have seven B+'s so far, and 15+ of those nice 7" displays)

Update2:

Can HSync & VSync be moved away from GPIO02 and GPIO3? It would be nice to preserve the I2C port.

(I just read the PDF - I see I can use it as the primary display. Excellent!)

Sorry I should have updated this post.
I have few prototypes left and I need some spares to give away to potential vendors.
So I am no longer looking for alpha testers.
