Thanks, only the schematics are missing at the end of the file.

Shouldn't there by a Registration mark ("R" in a circle) after "Gertboard" on the Gertboards ;-?

The board Rev date predates the date Gert made that post by a few weeks. But I think you can use TM before your registration goes through.

Thank you for the link !!

there is a lot of info missing in the cartridge (date, etc)
Rev4 is difficult to associate to the board rev/date info.

I annotated the printout I made, in order to avoid confusion of the schematics rev.

I really like the high level Gertboard view on the first page of this spec:

I've downloaded this zip file but I can't unzip it in either the file manager or LXterminal. The former doesn't react to "extract to here" (as I'm used to in Windows, it just doesn't do anything when I select it) and with the latter I'm following the Gertboard User Manual but its giving me errors.

Can anyone give a step by step instruction for a beginner?

As requested the new Farnell assembled Gertboard layout connections.
Beware that I have not shown the 3V3 and GND copper flood areas so the copper you see on the
board will differ from what you see here. But the connections are more clear this way.
Red = Top
Green = bottom
Blue-ish = GND
Pink-ish = 3V3

I can see the schematic pdf however would like to know if the sch files are available for KiCAD.
I am customizing the Gertboard with daughter boards and blue wires and would like to be able to modify the schematic
Thanks
