I have used my GertBoard with a Pi B+ and Pi2 so it should work with the Pi3, which all have the same connector and functionality on pins 1-26 as the original Pi.Michaelb130 wrote:Hi all,
I have a windows programming background and did a bit a electronics many years ago and now want to get back into it (mainly for controlling Lego & using the Arduino functionality and sending data back to the Pi3).
I have purchased a Raspberry Pi 3 B V1.2, touch screen, and a GertBoard (21-Oct-2012), plus a 26 pin ribbon cable for connecting the Pi and the gertboard together (last week). This is where the problem starts the Pi3 has a 40pin GPIO and the GertBoard has a 26 pin. Everything I read and see points to the 2 just working and clicking together (I am probably missing the obvious).
Does anyone have any basic instructions on connecting the Pi3 and the Gertboard together? (And yes I have probably missed the detail somewhere and I apologise for this).
