so the plusberyPi transformed your PS3 into a Wii?!?!?! I'd complain, get a refund and compensation ;)

Seriously though, that looks a lot cleaner and nicer :)

Darn, I was close. Never was a playstation fan, Actually, I've got a wii lol. Although, I'm replacing it soon with a pi arcade/emulator cab. Although, might just keep it in so I can play some of my wii games sill...

The PlusberryPi PCB is printed board with USB hub, USB to SATA adapter, and power switch.

with the PlusberryPi board we managed to set all input/output connectors in the back panel and make the raspberry pi nice and clean.
The raspberry pi SD card is also accessible from the bottom of the case what makes it easy to update the SD card image when needed without opening the case.

This is an amazing idea, and I would love to see this happen, but I think they are a little too short of their goal to make it in a week and 3 days.

I would turn it into the ultimate enclosure for a Retro console for the living room. It certainly beats a PS2 case modded to look how you want with a Pi inside. Takes out a lot of the guesswork as well.

Edit: Different color options would be neat for the case other than white and black (assuming that's available considering the IGG page showed a black one)

Have you considered offering only the PCB? Many people choose to build their own enclosures (i.e. this forum ^__~ )

interesting how you can expand your deadline time on that site... they are closer but still not quite there. I do hope to see them succeed. It would be a nice addition to the line of various cases available for the Pi that have different uses, Many of us on these forums would definitely prefer to get a hold of the PCB. Also not to nitpick but I've had problems with that sort of power switch, I guess it's replaceable with some solder-fu but still.

Hi Everyone,

We would like to thank all of our funders for making it happen.
Now we are starting our way to get those beautiful media boxes into production.
The good news is that who ever want to get a PlusberryPi case, they are now available on indiegogo http://igg.me/at/plusberrypi/x/7802494

Thanks,
PlusberryPi Team

Would it be possible to combine a Plusberry Pi with the Hifiberry DAC plus?

Are these available for general sale now? If so, where from?

I'm looking for a case that will seriously declutter my Pi 2 setup, and this looks exactly like what I need. I got two Pi, I'll buy two Plusberries - if I can find where to buy them!

I backed the project and have been a bit slow in getting round to actually doing anything with it but i will add this.
The case is reasonable given the costs and it fits together ok. The documentation is absolutely rubbish so unless you know what you're doing you are going to struggle.
Their website is really no help. I can't get mine sorted out. I've added a SSD and it is connected but i can't figure out how to use it. Perhaps someone who knows what they are doing could assist?

Code: Select all

Disk /dev/sda doesn't contain a valid partition table
The line above is the problem. It looks like your SSD has not been formatted.
You can use fdisk to do this but something like gparted is much easier.

Create a partition, add a filesystem, format (and maybe a reboot) and you should be good to go.
Note: If you only create one partition it will be /dev/sda1 - try mount that rather than /dev/sda

Good luck
