I'm a web developer, but I've programmed in the past a few microcontrollers, mostly AVR. The project you're working on can be very powerful, I appreciate the efforts.

I'm wondering if Node.js could be compiled on Ubuntu, on your device.

If we could port JavaScript through Node.js, that is truly amazing.

An old version of node.js (0.2.6) is available for debian sid on arm.
(http://packages.debian.org/sid/nodejs).
I think that means it can be compiled to run on the R-pi :-)

I sure hope R-pi will hit the market until Christmas, so I can give it to myself as an awesome gift :D
