I generally use my Pi to watch movies off of, because my TV doesn't support .mp4 format.
I have no experience with a rotary tool, otherwise known as a dremel. so be gentle on me!
So here's what you're going to need:
-Altoids Mint case
-Raspberry Pi
-Rotary Tool with standard attachments
-Glue gun (This I did not use)
-Sharpie or fine liner pen. I prefer the pen because I can easily rub off markings with my finger
-Safety glasses, I only had my raybans (stupid I know)
-Bundaberg Ginger Beer (optional)

Next I emptied the mints into a separate container and cleaned out the inside

I then sized up the Pi with the case, obviously some cutting had to be done for it to fit

I used my rotary tool to sand down the inside lip of the case for easier fitment

I then used some sand paper to smooth it off, only a quick sand to so I could continue

I then used my pen to mark out the areas I had to cut. I did this for all the areas that needed access

This is my first time using a rotary tool. Might explain my not so straight lines in the photos to come

here is the first cut I made for the USB and Ethernet ports. I continued to cut for all the areas that needed it.

side view of my wonky cuts

I then tried my best to smooth off the surfaces with whatever connection you call this one

Now is a good time to drink that Ginger beer with my best mate

obviously the Pi wasn't going to fit

I marked off the corners then cut. exposing the Pi board slightly on each corner

it fits!

I was hoping I didn't have to cut into the lid, but I needed the room

I then lined the inside with electrical tape. Didn't want "metal on metal"

Time to enjoy a movie for my efforts! with the Mints of course

Another snap of it closed
