Power supply

Thu Mar 06, 2014 1:35 am

I have found a power supply that would power the pi but I am not sure for how long. If someone could tell me that would be great, Thanks.
The power supply is at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 2ZZ0ZV1085

Hi,

Divide the battery capacity by RasPi (+ accessories) current consumption. Result is operating time.

Running out of GPIO pins and/or need to read analog values?

You will probably find that battery insufficient, if for no other reason than the RPi is unstable when running under 750mA. The product you link to provides a maximum of 500mA.

Depends on RasPi model and accessories attached... 500mA could be enough.
