I want to share with you my progress on the Raspberry Pi projects.
I'm quite new on the RPi, but I've done some stuff already.
I've discovered the RPi with a friend, but I had never tried a UNIX system, so I had to learn the basis to work with, but it was quite easy to do everything.
I've made an multiple purpose RPI, like:
Weather Station + WEB Server + Torrent Server + DLNA Server + Samba Server
It took me some time to do everything, but now it is working pretty fine.
Actually, in the beginning, I thought it was too much to the little RPi, but it is working very good so far.
The unfinished project still the Weather Station, but is already working, if someone wants to see.
In this station I've bought the sensors on the DealExtreme webpage ( http://www.dx.com ) for something like 15 dollars both.
I've made some graphs using GNUPlot, now i'm working on Maximum and Minimum values of the measurements and the next move is to implement a webcamera taking snapshots of the weather.
I live on the south of Brazil, now it's summer time here, so the temperatures are quite high.
I'm not at home right now, so i do not have all the scripts and codes, but below you can find some posts that I used to do my servers.
