Tue Dec 24, 2013 12:41 am

hey,
I have this old portable dvd player laying around,it don't play disks anymore either, and i almost tossed it out millons of times. (it's a polaroid dpa-07046Q portable dvd player ). im wondering if i should take out the main board a put the raspberry pi in or should i do something else? i don't have the battery so im just gonna use a usb power supply if i just use the raspberry pi board. I REALLY kinda want to do this so may you help me with my questions? :geek:

So you have a DVD player that you don't play DVDs on, and you are going to take out the circuit board, so what you are left with is just a box. If the box is bigger than the Raspberry Pi, go ahead and put it in there!

If there's more you want the Raspberry Pi to do in the box, please explain in more detail so people can help more.
