First steps to a Pi Portable

Fri Oct 04, 2013 2:47 am

Hello everyone! I'm quite new (and young, think <15) to building computers and stuff. So I decided I really wanted a Pi laptop. So I scavenged the house for parts, and the only thing I need to go to good ol' RS for is the display. It has a massive battery (5 hours) that powers both the display and the Pi. Next steps for the project is building little wooden box for it. I would 3D print, but it's too expensive. Are there alternatives that are cheaper?

I plan on also getting a shorter composite cable, because that is also taped together.
Held together with clear tape and a stolen hair band from my sister
